Director of Property Care

ASBURY FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (www.asburyfirst.org), a large, vibrant, outreach-oriented, progressive, mainline church located in the heart of Rochester, NY, is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Director of Property Care.

The Director of Property Care will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the readiness, integrity, safety and security of the buildings and grounds of the church, working in collaboration with the property care staff, church leadership, and Property Stewardship Committee. Specific responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• overseeing care and maintenance of the buildings and grounds
• safety and security of the campus
• focal point for all moves and event/meeting set-ups/teardowns
• creation and management of Property Stewardship budget
• oversight of capital projects and contract work

The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, be able to work independently and within deadlines on various tasks on the Asbury First campus.

Five years experience in facilities, property management, building maintenance, and housekeeping operations is required. Management experience is required. High School diploma is required. Ability to read contracts required. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
