While worship is the centerpiece of our life together, we experience life together in many other ways as well. Whether you volunteer in one of our outreach ministries, take advantage of an educational opportunity, or just finding your way into one of the many fellowship groups, we hope that you find a place to connect at Asbury First and we are here to help!

Educational Opportunties
Sunday School Classes, 9:45-10:45 a.m. All are open, and welcome visitors.
Adult Bible Study - Building: 1050, Room: Teak Room (click here for a campus map)
This class is for anyone interested in taking a closer look at the Bible. Under the leadership of Rev. David Lubba, we work together to broaden and deepen our knowledge and understanding of the Bible. We may look at selected verses, a single passage, or an entire book.
In the News: A Current Events Roundtable - Building 1050, Room: Dining Room (click here for a campus map)
Anyone interested in faithful conversation around current affairs will enjoy this class. We examine the spiritual implications of current events, and provide a friendly forum for expressing differing viewpoints on diverse topics.
Parables of Parenting - Building 1040, Room: 200 (click here for a campus map)
Whether your child is in the crib or in college, you are welcome in this class. We support and strengthen one another for the wonderful and often challenging journey of raising children. There’s time for discussion, sharing of stories, and reflections on trends in parenting from a faith perspective.
Doublers - Building 1010, Room: Red Room (click here for a campus map)
This class is open to singles and couples. We offer programs on bible study, theology, Christian service, and social concerns
50+ Fellowship - Building 1010, Room: Dining Room (click here for a campus map)
We are Christians with probing minds, examining their faith and life issues to live a rich and full life in the 21st century. This is achieved through weekly classes and monthly social activities while supporting members in need with visits and phone calls. A true fellowship. Despite the title (an amalgamation of a couple previous classes), this class is open to all ages.

Open to all, we grow as Christians through topic discussions, outreach, fellowship, and social events.

Methodism 101, Four Wednesday Evenings at 6:30-7:30, offered each Fall and Spring

Whether you have grown up in The United Methodist Church or have just found yourself into this fellowship, this class is an exploration of the history, structure, beliefs, and challenges of The United Methodist Church.

Women's Fellowship Hour - Tuesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.,

The Women’s Fellowship Hour is a chance for women from every generation to support one another and share in the wonders and challenges of womanhood. All women are welcome. Nursery care is available (please call ahead if you need nursery care).
The Appetizer Group – First Sunday
This group is open to all and meets the first Sunday of each month at various people’s homes (check the events calendar for the next location). People gather for appetizers and fellowship and there are frequent opportunities for outings and other get-togethers.
Men's Devotional Group - Wednesdays, 6:00 a.m.

This group is open to all men interested in sharing with one another the walk of faith. There is a time for the sharing of a devotion, joys and concerns, and support. Following the devotional time, the men typically head to a local restaurant for breakfast. All are welcome.
TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) – Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
