Storehouse

Storehouse Now Accepting Donations!

We are happy to announce that now the Storehouse has re-opened under a new COVID-19 plan and we are ready to accept donations. While the donation bin is still available for those that need it, we would appreciate scheduled donations.

To schedule an appointment for drop-off, please call Joan at 585-385-3596 on weekdays from 10 am-4:30 pm. Appointment times will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:45 -11:15 am and 12:45- 2:30 pm.

Based on our inventory and what we can reasonably accommodate at this time, we welcome:
  • All children’s and men’s clothes, shoes, coats, and boots (clean and in good condition, including coats needing new zippers);
  • Women’s fall and winter clothes;
  • Small toys, both gently used and new.
We are also looking for volunteers who are willing to assist with heavy lifting as we transport donations during the hours the Storehouse is open.
Thank you for your patience and for all that you continue to do for the Storehouse. For more information, contact Cindy Connell at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Grocery Bag Ministry

During the month of November, the Grocery Bag Ministry worked once again with our partners at the New Horizons Church (formerly West Ave) as well as our friends at the Keeping Our Promises refugee support program. We continue to operate in “bulk mode” with minimal volunteers but have been able to continue including distribution of frozen meals that are being well received by our church partners. We are grateful to be part of the annual Thanksgiving In-Gathering and look forward to helping to distribute the congregation’s generosity to our hungry Rochester neighbors.
