What We Are
More than 6,000 persons a year are sent to us by 200+ social service agencies, churches, schools, health care facilities, and halfway houses. Clients come by appointment, with a letter of referral from an advocate who has personal knowledge of their needs.
More than 100 volunteers staff the Storehouse. There are sorters, seamstresses, size markers, clerks and receptionists, as well as those who gather materials for us from motels, consignment shops, and garage sales. We always need additional help. To volunteer, please call (585) 473-0950.
We are dependent upon church and community support for supplies and funding. In addition to clothing, kitchenware, and linens, we stock children's books, games, and toys. Articles for donation should be clean and in good condition. A receipt for tax purposes is available.
