At Asbury First, our mission and vision are in accordance with the direction we as United Methodists have received, set forth by John Wesley and further confirmed in the United Methodist Book of Discipline. Our community of believers has been brought together by the realization that a local body of believers is critical to every person's walk in faith.The opportunities for membership and evangelism at Asbury First reaffirm our dedication to the mission and ministry of the United Methodist Church, sharing God's compassion and following Jesus' mandate to "go ... and make disciples of all nations". We continually strive to join John Wesley in affirming the divine call to do good works that show God's love wherever we can.

It is through this vision we have developed and continue to develop and participate in programs and opportunities for membership care and evangelism within ourcongregation, our community and the world. Asbury First is about nurturing persons in Christian living through worship, baptism, communion, Bible and other studies, prayer and other means of grace.
